Monitor oil level, water temperature, and run time at a glance, helping you catch issues early and reduce maintenance.
Real-time load monitoring automatically adjusts feed speed or stops feeding, preventing blockages and ensuring smooth operation.
360° directional discharge with jet distance up to 2.5m. Easy for both direct unloading and loading into transport vehicles.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT MACHINE
For European projects, price alone is not enough. First compare machine capability, then confirm the engine, safety documentation, transport method and operating conditions before reviewing the most suitable model.
Feed diameter, power, throughput and inlet size indicate which machine class best matches your job.
| Specification | TIROX 1063 | TIROX 1585 |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum Wood Diameter | 300 mm | 430 mm |
| Indicative Throughput* | 5–6 t/h | 7–8 t/h |
| Engine Power | 129 hp | 244 hp |
| Feed Opening | 470 × 430 mm | 750 × 430 mm |
| Feeding System | Hydraulic | Hydraulic |
| Typical Jobs | Branches, logs and forestry residues | Larger wood and intensive feeding |
| Mobility | Wheeled or tracked, subject to order specification | Wheeled or tracked, subject to order specification |
* Throughput depends on wood species, moisture, material shape and feeding method. Feed opening size is not the same as allowable wood diameter. The TIROX 1585 figure of 7–8 t/h is indicative. Final performance and configuration are defined in the order specification.
European requirements vary by destination, engine, mobility and intended use. These items must be confirmed before order.
Confirm the engine option, rated power and whether EU Stage V or another emissions requirement applies to the final machine.
CE documentation and multilingual operating manuals are available. Confirm the documents and manual language for your selected model and destination.
Stationary, wheeled and tracked versions serve different jobs. Road towing, brakes, lighting and registration requirements must be checked separately.
Minimum temperature, hydraulic fluids, hoses, seals, fuel-system components and pre-heating options are matched to the operating environment.

Another way to process wood waste
Choose a horizontal grinder for nail-containing pallets, construction wood and mixed waste, or large clean logs requiring higher-volume processing. With knife rotors, the 5000 handles logs up to 40 cm at a reference 10–15 t/h, the 6400 up to 60 cm at 20–25 t/h, and the 8600 up to 80 cm at 30–40 t/h. Nail-containing waste requires a hammer rotor.

For mobile branch and log processing, choose the 600/800 for logs up to 15 cm, 6145/1053 up to 25 cm, 1063/1263 up to 30 cm, 1263 up to 35 cm, and 1585 up to 43 cm. Final selection also depends on required output, power supply and chip specifications. For 24-hour industrial production or strict papermaking-grade chips, consider an industrial BX drum chipper instead.
Reference capacities are approximately 1 t/h for the 600/800, 4–7 t/h for the 6145/1053, and 5–10 t/h for the larger mobile models. Actual output depends on material and configuration. Dry hardwood should be estimated at the lower end; wet, leafy or tangled branches can reduce output by 15–35%. These figures are reference ranges, not guaranteed hourly rates.
Our mobile chippers include hydraulic forced feeding to maintain more consistent material intake and reduce blockages and kickback. Additional automatic feeding-control functions should be confirmed for the selected configuration.
Yes, provided the material stays within the model’s diameter and power limits. The mobile range handles whole logs up to 43 cm, with higher-power configurations and wear-resistant alloy blades recommended for demanding hardwood work. Choose a larger model when material approaches the maximum input size. Standard mobile units are designed for 4–5 hours of continuous operation per session, not 24-hour industrial duty.
Yes. Mobile chippers produce adjustable chips in the 5–30 mm range, with mixed sizes and occasional longer pieces. This suits mulch, compost and general biomass fuel. For strict chip-size uniformity or papermaking and MDF requirements, specify screening and an appropriately matched industrial chipper.
Diesel power is standard, with factory electric-drive options available. Power packages vary by model, from 30–54 HP for the 600/800 to 154–214 HP for the 1585. Mobility choices include low-speed wheeled, crawler and highway-transfer chassis. Road registration and local road-use compliance remain the customer’s responsibility.
Do not feed nail-containing pallets or metal-contaminated wood into a conventional blade-type chipper. For these materials, select a horizontal grinder with a hammer rotor; clean logs require a knife rotor. Material inspection and contaminant removal should be planned according to the final application.
Yes. Options include power upgrades, suitable chassis, feeding and discharge conveyors, wear-resistant blades, screening and dust-control equipment. We match the configuration to your material, maximum dimensions, production schedule, power supply and finished-product requirements. Oversized material or continuous industrial duty requires a suitable machine—not simply modifications to a smaller model.
